We are seeking financial support from California organizations with an interest in helping physicians and other health care providers better manage domestic violence. If we are able to obtain adequate resources to permit us to manage the site and provide free CME credit, we will notify local California medical societies, the Medical Board of California, and anyone else we can find. If you would like to be notified personally, please add your e-mail to our mailing list. If you are interested in taking this program now, you can view a similar version of it at the independent, subscriber-supported Website, The Virtual Lecture Hall(www.VLH.com).

This program was prepared by national physician experts. It was shown in an NIH Study PDF Document to improve physician confidence and skills in managing domestic violence.

"I thought I was aware of the general problem of IPV, but this course startled me with how much I am likely overlooking! Your course provides exceptional clarity and guidance in approaching screening and how to respond to patients' different levels of readiness for change. The photographs, video clips, accessible forms for downloads, referral organizations, and case studies helped make the concepts real and easy to implement. I've already asked my office manager to set up an inservice for my office staff with the local WEAVE group. This was the best multi-media presentation I've ever done!"
