Notice of Site Closure on July 31, 2008

After July 31, 2008 we will no longer have funding to offer free CME credit to California physicians who complete the "Respond To Domestic Violence" CME program. Although we are seeking alternative funding sources (and welcome ideas), we cannot assume that such funding will be available. We have not received additional financial support for this initiative, so we have been forced to discontinue this Website after July 31. If you wish to receive CME credit or to view the online domestic violence program, please complete your activities before July 31! After that date, you will not be able to view the free program or print a CME certificate. If you wish to continue learning about domestic violence or want to refer colleagues to this excellent educational resource, a very similar program is available at the independent, non-commercial CME Website, The Virtual Lecture Hall (www.VLH.com).

Note: Only licensed California physicians can earn CME credit from this program. If you are not a California physician and would like to earn credit, please visit the program Current Management of Domestic Violence - Responding to IPV available at The Virtual Lecture Hall (www.VLH.com ).

"I thought I was aware of the general problem of IPV, but this course startled me with how much I am likely overlooking! Your course provides exceptional clarity and guidance in approaching screening and how to respond to patients' different levels of readiness for change. The photographs, video clips, accessible forms for downloads, referral organizations, and case studies helped make the concepts real and easy to implement. I've already asked my office manager to set up an inservice for my office staff with the local WEAVE group. This was the best multi-media presentation I've ever done!"
